SAILING LESSONS

The Presidio Yacht Club at the Travis Marina offers sail training programs for those interested in learning how to sail. Sailboat rentals are available upon class completion and demonstrated boat-handling proficiency. The sail training program is open to all active duty, reserve, retired US Armed Services, and all club members. Active duty are given priority.

Class schedule

Below are the class dates for 2012. Each class is four days, two consecutive weekends.

• May 12-13, 19-20
• June 23-24, 30-1
• July 21-22, 28-29
• September 22-23, 29-30
• October 20-21, 27,28

Sailing textbooks have been made available at the Travis AFB library. Feel free to check one out and study before class.
