News from Tom and Amy Larson on the S/V Sandpiper:
Ahoy to the PYC and all our friends in the Bay Area!! Its been awhile since we pulled out of Horseshoe Cove and took a left outside the GG Bridge and we would like to give everyone an update as to where we are and what we have been up to. We are currently anchored in Hiva Oa, Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific and have completed a crossing of the Pacific from Zihuatanejo, Mexico. After retiring from the Coast Guard last summer, Amy quitting her job, selling our condo, selling our cars and putting everything into storage "Team Sandpiper" departed Horseshoe Cove last September and headed southbound.
